Recently I went to my first ever Ladies Day at Aintree races. It was the most amazing event I've attended in a long time. The atmosphere was electric with over 30,000 people attending on the day. I will definitely be making it an annual event.
It's no secret how much of an effort is made at Ladies Day so I knew I had to go extra glam with my makeup!!
I always prep my skin with dermalogica microfoliant, then use a face oil. My favourite one at the moment is by botanics (available at Boots.)
I used studio sculpt foundation by Mac, mixed with Nars Orgasm primer. This gives me a really dewy glow, which is the look I always go for. On my eyes I used Urban Decay Naked 3, maybeline falsies mascara and eylure lashes. To contour and highlight I use mac give me sun bronzer and soft and gentle. It's amazing how much you can change your face shape by contouring and highlighting. We all owe Kim Kardashian a big thankyou for making this look as big as her famous butt.
If I'm doing a smokey eye I always go for a neutral lipstick or just a gloss. I have 2 favourite colours by Mac which are frost angel and frost fabby. I think I have had about 5 of the lipsticks since Christmas!!
